Which buses serve Bexleyheath?

- SL3: a Superloop service between Thamesmead Town Centre and Bromley North Station, calling in Bexleyheath at Bexleyheath Station, Bexleyheath/Lion Road and Bexleyheath Library.
- 89: Lewisham Station to Forest Road/Slade Green Station, calling at Blackheath, Welling, Bexleyheath Clock Tower and Barnehurst Station.
- 96: Bluewater to Thomas Street (Woolwich), via Dartford, Crayford, Bexleyheath Clock Tower, Welling, Plumstead, Woolwich and Woolwich Arsenal.
- 132: North Greenwich Station to Geddes Place in Bexleyheath, via Eltham Station and Bexley Station.
- 422: North Greenwich Station to Bexleyheath Clock Tower, via Woolwich Arsenal and Woolwich.

Is there a night bus?

The N89 runs from Trafalgar Square/Charing Cross Station to Erith Town Centre/Riverside, via Lewisham, Blackheath, Welling, Barnehurst and Slade Green. Check TfL's N89 page for current times.

Which buses go to Bexley village and Barnehurst?

The 132 calls at Bexley Station, and the B12 lists Bexley Library. The 89 and N89 call at Barnehurst Station. For other stops in Bexley village, enter your postcode into TfL's journey planner. For Sidcup, the B14 and SL3 are the routes TfL lists; Sidcup has its own guide at sidcup.co.

What do buses cost?

As published by TfL: a single journey is £1.75, and the Hopper fare allows unlimited journeys within one hour of touching in for £1.75. The daily cap is £5.25 and the weekly cap (Monday to Sunday) is £24.70. TfL says cash is not accepted on London buses, so you need contactless payment or an Oyster card. TfL says all fares will rise on 1 November 2026, to £1.85 for a pay as you go journey, £5.55 for the daily cap and £26.10 for the weekly cap. See TfL's bus fares page.

Is there a free pass for older or disabled people?

TfL's page on the Freedom Pass says there is an Older Person's Freedom Pass and a Disabled Person's Freedom Pass, both applied for through London Councils, and that there is a separate 60+ London Oyster photocard. Eligibility, including age, is set out on the Freedom Pass portal, so check it there.
