AI Business Coach or AI Builder? Choosing Help in Bexleyheath for a Pub or Bar

A coach and a builder solve different problems

A coach asks questions, sets goals and keeps you accountable. That suits an owner who has the time and the appetite to change how the business runs and wants a sounding board.

A builder takes a specific chore off your hands. The owner of a pub, say, who also does the bookings, the supplier chasing and the Facebook replies, rarely lacks ideas. They lack hours.

The pub test

The directory lists 27 pubs, counted on 10 October 2026. A function enquiry for a christening or a birthday arrives by message on a Tuesday. The landlord is changing a barrel. Whether that enquiry becomes a booking often depends on who replies first.

Ask yourself which sentence sounds more like your week:

• "I am not sure which direction the business should go." Coaching is a fair fit.
• "I know what needs doing, I just cannot keep up with the messages." Installation is the fit.

What Dean Keating does

His website calls it a done-for-you service. He builds AI agents and puts them into the tools you already use, then trains your team and supports it. The jobs it lists include replying to new enquiries within minutes, following up until someone books or says no, booking into the diary, answering common questions on email, web and WhatsApp, and sending confirmations and reminders.

It is not a course and it is not coaching in the usual sense. The free call includes looking at which tasks are repetitive enough to be handed over, and you leave with a plan you can use with or without him.

What it costs and where he is

No price list is published; the cost follows the free call, with no obligation. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire. The work is remote and his website says it works anywhere in the UK.

Choosing sensibly

If you want a coach, ask for a trial conversation and for examples of what changed for their other clients. If you want a builder, ask what will be running a month from now. You may well want both, and in that order only if the mess is in your own head rather than in your inbox. See how local pubs compare on the pubs category.

About this guide

Bexleyheath.co is published by Dean Keating, who also runs the service described here. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, not in Bexleyheath, and works with Bexleyheath and south-east London businesses remotely. If you want someone in the room, say so on the first call and look at Bexleyheath-based providers too. This guide recommends our own service, so compare it with other providers before you decide.
